I actively mentor designers, helping to identify strengths, passions, and growth areas. I create opportunities within projects to accelerate their careers, and ensuring their contributions are recognised and celebrated. I also aim to embody and visibly practice traits myself that I want to see in others to inspire and motivate action.
I've led intiatives to shift from opinion-driven decision making to a research-driven cultures, integrating CX scorecards, research repositories, and dual-track processes to ensure product investments continually deliver customer and business value.
From Scottish Government to Char.gy and beyond, I drive design maturity through scalable systems, training, and processes that I design to continually evolving beyond my direct involvement.
I align product, technology, operations, and business stakeholders at all levels to shared goals and ways of working, ensuring that design thinking and continuous discovery is embraced throughout the organisation.

My international experience has been pivotal in shaping my approach to design leadership. Cross-cultural immersion has broadened my perspective, enriching my understanding of diverse user needs and work methodologies. I’ve consistently applied design as a powerful, unifying tool to bridge gaps, forge global connections, and lead teams through complex challenges to achieve shared success.
I bring an entrepreneurial mindset that translates directly into value for the businesses I work with. Following my natural curiosity, I’ve used design as a lens to research, identify, prototype, and validate new business models and innovations—from launching a successful journaling book series (recognised by Glasgow University and Santander’s business awards), to designing a digital platform that helped entrepreneurs crowdfund ideas, to hosting and managing community meetups on personal development and startup strategy. I’m currently growing a food venture and exploring no-code SaaS platforms, all of which keep me close to the realities of launching and scaling ideas. These hands-on experiences sharpen my ability to navigate ambiguity, spot new value opportunities, and bring fresh, actionable insight into the heart of client work—making innovation more than just theory.
I’d love to explore how I can contribute to your team’s success—let’s connect.
