Maker Toolkit
Bringing ideas to life (especially in collaboration with others) greatly excites me and has motivated me to learn and adopt an abundance of skills in research, design, product, coding and development, project managent, marketing, accessibility, and more. Making, both physically and digitally, is where I find my flow, rhythm, and energy.
International Education
My Master of European Design degree has been a springboard into travelling and understanding the world. I have learned about differences in cultures and mindsets between countries, experienced alternative ways of working, and mastered design as a universal language.

No idle thumbs
I'm entrepreneurial by nature. like to keep myself busy with side projects. Over the years I've tried my hand at a host of different activities from hosting meetups to launching my own products. Sometimes recognised, sometimes not. What matters to me is that they help me grow and learn beyond client projects and add much more to them as a result. Here's a snapshot timeline.
Timeline
- Hosted UX Makers Meetup (2018-2019)
Designed, hosted and facilitated a short series of workshops to upskill participants in UX/UI design tools.
- Launched Voxos (2018)
Together with a small team we raised over £21,088 for a new technology in bone conduction audio
- Hosted Crowdfunding Meetup (2017-2019)
Created, hosted and facilitated a string of meetups and workshops to upskill participants in how to launch crowdfunders
- Presented at UX Oxford (2017)
A lightning session keynote on lessons learned through crowdfunding
- Launched Career Journal (2017)
Listening to customer feedback we designed and launched a journaling module for our journal system to help users find fulfilling careers
- Launched Core Journal v2 (2017)
Using customer feedback we improved our initial Kickstarter product and relaunched it
- Hosted Motivation Mondays meetup (2015-16)
Created, hosted and facilitated a string of personal development meetups for an international community of 1400+ across Glasgow, Edinburgh, and San Francisco
- Launched Journal Life (2016)
Researched, Designed and Launched a modular hardcopy journaling product/framework on Kickstarter and raised £15,057

Awarded a place on the programme to develop my business model
